Currently I'm working with encaustic, a medium in which I make my own paint using powdered pigment, beeswax, and organic resins. I also work with frottage which involves mapping the surface of objects placed directly beneath the canvas. The primary artistic themes influencing my painting currently are abstracted subject matter, geometry, and the objective, physical nature of painting.
